Race Discrimination
Disparate treatment linked to race, ethnicity, color, national origin, ancestry, or associated protections.
In plain terms
Employers may not base hiring, discipline, pay, or firing on race, ethnicity, national origin, or related stereotypes. Evidence can include biased remarks, uneven enforcement of rules, shifting explanations, or how others outside your group were treated in similar situations. Complaining about race discrimination is separately protected; punishment for speaking up can be its own claim.
